KYDO is an exciting programme that will bring youths from diverse backgrounds and interests to converse, perform and play together as part of a healthy lifestyle and as a platform for youths to talk, be heard and included in Sarawak’s development process

Over the last 5 years or so, Kuching city has seen the exciting emergence of various youth outfits centering on career, the arts and culture, building communities / community service (for e.g. volunteerism), social consciousness and modern & innovative enterprise - a trend not seen, prior. It is thus fitting to provide an avenue to bring together these diverse groups to interact and synergise, and, produce ideas on future efforts that could drive youth development for Kuching and, Sarawak as a whole, to the next level, capitalising on Sarawak’s own unique gifts and strengths.

 

KYDO’S Objectives

To bring together Kuching youths from diverse backgrounds and interests to converse, perform and play together as part of a healthy lifestyle and social interaction.

To get local youths to talk about current social and economic trends with a view to encourage the younger generations to contribute ideas and recommendations on moving forward.

To help provide a stronger unified front for the youths to be heard, to be engaged and included in the state’s development process.


What is Azam?

Angkatan Zaman Mansang (AZAM) WHICH MEANS A “Movement for Progress” is a non-profit and non-govermental organisation which seeks to facilitate development efforts in Sarawak through promoting development communication. To contribute to national efforts to promote development consciousness and participation among the people, AZAM strives to achieve the following objectives
